Pocatello Centennial Rotary is proud of past, ongoing and emerging service projects.  We spend on average $6,000 and provide hundreds of voluntary hours annually.  Recurring projects include money and advocacy to the Portneuf Greenway, Idaho State Civic Symphony; Idaho International Choral Festival; School District 25 Education Foundation; Gate City Grays community baseball, and our New Generations programs ROTARACT, INTERACT, Rotary Youth Exchange and RYLA.  Larger matching grant projects include refurbishing a small village clinic in northeast India, classroom computer set for elementary school, replacement heating system for disabled persons sheltered work organization; new kitchen equipment for Salvation Army and large public art/sculpture. Hands-on recurring projects include cleanup and flower planting at Bistline Partnership Corner, Trapper Park, Simplot Square, Taysom Rotary Park;  various trail building, repair and cleaning projects; and regular work at Idaho Food Bank.  New projects for 2019-2020 include planning to refurbish a village school in Mexico, support the Southeast Idaho Crisis Center; and procure playground equipment for the Aid for Friends homeless shelter.  If you believe that your cause or project fits with Pocatello Centennial Rotary club, ask to be a program speaker, tell your story and ask for support.
